1. Journal #6 "Review for the Mycenean and Athenian cultures"
1. What animal was most significant to the Myceneans? What does this indicate about their culture?
2. What type of individual lived in Athens? Support your points with a specific example.
3. Explain why Athens was given its name.
4. Why was dance required of each Athenian citizen?
5. Explain the term "city-state."

HOMEWORK:
1. Please read pages 21-44 in your text regarding the Greek gods. Including only ORANGE points. Please have three annotations/notations for each god. THIS IS DUE ON FRIDAY.
2. Students were given EXAM #1 back. If you would like to revise your exam, then 10 points will be added to your initial score. The revision is due on TUESDAY.
3. CER #1 is due on October 18th
