Dear Humanities Kids,
Today you were introduced to the CER (Cultural Event Report) assignment. If you missed class, PLEASE stop by and obtain the information and then visit with a student from class. I am so happy to visit with you, but only after you have been an advocate for yourself.
We then "went to Egypt." From now until the end of the semester we will look at different cultures, and their art, architecture, literature, philosophy, and religion, and Egypt is the first "destination on our itinerary."
HOMEWORK:
Each student received two pieces entitled " The Legend of Osiris" and "Mummification." Students were asked to read both pieces of literature, annotate/notate each one 5-7/page, using ALL YOUR COLORS.
Students were introduced to the significant Egyptian gods, and why the Egyptians believed so strongly in the mummification process.
